Oliver practises in all areas of tax law. He has appeared by himself in the Court of Appeal and the High Court. He also has experience of litigation in a wide variety of cases before the General Commissioners, the Special Commissioners and the VAT Tribunal.
He has lectured on tax and professional negligence, and has advised on numerous professional negligence cases involving tax.
Oliver is qualified to accept Public Access instructions as well as accepting Joint Advisory Scheme and Special Advocacy Scheme work.
