Emma Pearce appointed to Attorney General's panel

We are delighted to announce that Emma Pearce has been appointed to the Attorney General’s panel.
Places on the Treasury panels are highly sought after as they allow those Barristers to receive instructions from Government departments. The work is usually important and sensitive, often involving matters of policy and/or large sums of money. Members of the A panel deal with the most complex cases. They will often appear against QC’s. There are usually only about 70 Barristers, drawn from all areas of the law, on the A panel. B panellists deal with substantial cases but not usually as complex as those handled by the A panel. Members will generally be instructed where knowledge and experience of a particular field is required. Those appointed to the C panel will often (but not always) become the A and B panel members of the future and so will be expected to show the potential to join the A panel.
11 Members of our Chambers are currently on panel:
A Panel
Elizabeth Wilson, James Rivett, David Yates
B Panel
Sadiya Choudhury, Laura Poots
C Panel
Thomas Chacko, Charles Bradley, Edward Waldegrave, Barbara Belgrano, Ben Elliott, Emma Pearce
