Chalcot v HMRC; (ChD)

Chalcot Training Ltd v (1) Ralph (2) HMRC; Chalcot Training Ltd v (1) Stoneman (2) HMRC [2020] EWHC 1054 (Ch) (Michael Green QC sitting as a Deputy Judge of the Chancery Division) 5th May 2020

The claimants in each case wished to set aside payments made under a scheme to pay tax-free remuneration on the basis that they involved the payment of disguised unlawful dividends and/or the issue of shares at a discount or for commission.  The High Court dismissed the claims.
