VAT conference 2019

Pump Court Tax Chambers is pleased to announce a one day conference devoted to VAT.
The conference will be Chaired by Roger Berner (retired judge of the First-tier and Upper Tribunals) and speakers will include:
Kevin Prosser QC, David Milne QC, Julian Ghosh QC, Andrew Hitchmough QC, Roger Thomas QC, Richard Vallat QC, Jonathan Bremner QC and David Yates QC.
There will be 5 Plenary sessions covering:
- Output tax issues
- Input tax issues
- Place of supply
- Brexit
- Correcting mistakes / repayment claims
In addition, you will be able to choose 2 breakout sessions out of the following:
- Property
- Not for profit
- Cross border
- Lititgation

Booking information:
The regular ticket price will be £375 +VAT per delegate for a single booking.
There are discounts available if multiple spaces are booked (must be booked at the same time).
There are also discounts available on the full price to members of the British Property Federation, the British Universities Finance Directors Group, International VAT Association, Beament Leslie Thomas and CIOT Indirect Tax Sub-Committee. If you are a member of any of these institutions please contact us for details. Please note that those discounts cannot be used in conjunction with the Early Bird price, nor can we apply it retrospectively to any booking already made.
Bookings are to be made via our website, with a choice of payment method:
i) Pay immediately with a debit/credit card (Amex not accepted)
ii) Opt to pay via Cheque/BACS. If selected, you will receive a subsequent invoice via separate email, once you have placed your order.
PRICE Includes attendance, breakfast, refreshments, a buffet lunch, documentation and a post conference reception. Full payment must be received prior to the conference.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING All spaces will be acknowledged by email within ten working days of booking. Final conference details will be emailed to delegates approximately two weeks before the event. Please contact us immediately if you have not received email acknowledgement of your space within ten working days of booking, or you have not received final details of the conference five working days before the event.
CANCELLATIONS If you are unable to attend and would like to send a colleague instead, please let us have the name change as soon as possible. We operate a graduated refund policy depending how much notice of cancellation is given. Should you cancel more than 30 clear days before the date the event is to take place, we will refund you the whole price paid. Where you give less than 30 but more than 15 clear days notice, we will refund 50% of the fee paid. No refunds will be given where less than 15 clear days notice is given or in the case of “no shows” on the day, regardless of the reason.
